Formed on the Australian Gold Coast in 2017 and relocated to Brisbane in 2022, Serpentum emerged from Queensland’s black metal underground. This nihilistic music inhabits a world of darkness, decay, but also power. Their live performances have become known for their immersive and uncompromising intensity.

The band’s history has passed through the hands of Judas, Scourge, Bile, Yrsa, Draugr, Polar and Talos, with Judas and Scourge remaining at the core of Serpentum since its early years. The current incarnation consists of Judas (vocals, bass, guitar), Scourge (guitar), Yrsa (guitar, vocals), Polar (drums, keys, bass) and Talos (bass).
